Fashion Island Hotel announces new changes to the after-work and night-time hot spot Aqua Lounge and at restaurant Oak Grill. Aqua Lounge and Oak Grill Fireside have a new Happy Hour menu served daily “$7 ‘til Seven” with new bites such as popcorn shrimp, tuna poke, fried onions and more, and $7 craft beers, wines by the glass and well cocktails. Also at Oak Grill, a new Supper Sundays Italian Menu launches this weekend, with comfort foods to be shared by family and friends on relaxed Sunday evenings. And Chef Brittany Valles launches her March Chef Dinner Series with new dates and a new three-course menu for gourmet food devotees.

New $7 ‘til Seven Happy Hour Menu at Aqua Lounge and Oak Grill Fireside
Served daily from 4 to 7 p.m.
Every day from 4 to 7 p.m., Happy Hour at Aqua Lounge and Oak Grill Fireside offers a special menu of $7 bites and shareables that pair perfectly with craft draft beers at $7, wines by the glass at $7 and well cocktails at $7. New bites include Popcorn Shrimp, Housemade Chips with Guacamole and Salsa, Classic Iceberg Wedge Salad with Bacon, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Fried Onions, Candied Walnuts and Blue Cheese Dressing and Tuna Poke with Wasabi Aioli, Shaved Radishes, Avocado and Wakame.

New Supper Sundays: Family-Style Italian at Oak Grill
From March through May
From March through May, the Italian-centric family-style dishes are created to be shared. It’s an experience that starts with Garlic Knots with marinara and parmesan FOR THE TABLE. Next comes the ANTIPASTI with choices including Antipasti Salad, Minestrone Soup, Calamari Fritto Misto, Fried Mozzarella and other selections. PRIMI options are Spaghetti & Meatballs, Shrimp Scampi, Chicken or Eggplant Parmesan, Baked Ziti and more. And for dessert, DOLCI offers Ricotta Cheese Cannolis or Tiramisu. $45 per adult; $20 per child ages five to 12, excluding tax and gratuity. Reservations can be made by calling 949.760.4920.

Chef Dinner Series Moves from Sunday and Monday to Wednesday and Thursday
Every Wednesday and Thursday beginning March 13
Oak Grill’s Executive Chef Brittany Valles favors flavors that are bright, bold and fresh. On Wednesdays and Thursdays each week beginning March 13, she’s created a select three-course menu with choices that showcase her version of dishes she thinks food lover guests will especially savor. Course One offers Ahi Tuna Tartare, Tuscan Kale Salad or Soup Du Jour. Course Two selections are Quail Coq Au Vin with baby squash, pommes purée and crispy potato; Shrimp Gnocchi with sweet peas; or Eggplant Parmesan. For dessert, Course Three tempts guests with a choice of either Warm Chocolate Flourless Cake with toffee ice cream and salted caramel or Strawberry Lime Parfait with lime sponge, macerated strawberries and basil cremeux. $65 per person; wine pairing for an additional $35 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Wienerschnitzel is expanding its delicious Chili Cheese Fries with three all-new Loaded Chili Cheese Fries varieties showcasing regional tastes from across the country. Wienerschnitzel’s iconic Chili Cheese Fries have become one of the World’s Largest Dog Chain’s most-requested menu items. The three flavor extensions available starting Feb. 25 at 325 participating Wienerschnitzel restaurants participating in a limited-time “Chili Cheese Fries From Around the USA” promotion.

Each new offering features regional ingredients topped with Wienerschnitzel’s world-famous chili and cheese. Italian Chili Cheese Fries, inspired by New York City’s Little Italy, features basil pesto aioli, diced onions and diced tomatoes; the Tex-Mex Chili Cheese Fries, in honor of San Antonio, includes green chili aioli, diced onions, diced tomatoes and jalapeno slices; and the Thousand Island Chili Cheese Fries, celebrating the California Coast, is made with Thousand Island dressing and grilled onions.

“Beyond our Chili Cheese Dogs, it’s our Chili Cheese Fries that customers love the most about Wienerschnitzel – so it’s only natural that we extend the appeal of this iconic favorite,” said J.R. Galardi, Wienerschnitzel’s president. “Regardless of which new flavor variety you choose, you’re getting our world-famous chili made the Wienerschnitzel Way. Our fans will go crazy for all three.”

The three options join the Bacon Ranch Chili Cheese Fries and the Tapatio® Chili Cheese Fries on the menu. The limited-time Chili Cheese Fries are available from Feb. 25 through April 28 at all Wienerschnitzel locations and are available in regular and large sizes.
