SideDoor’s fall tradition of fine swine and craft brews returns. Featuring a variety of delicious dishes along with a variety of traditional German and craft beers to showcase the fall season’s most delectable flavors.

Through October 6, SideDoor’s taps will be taken over by a selection of Oktoberfest inspired, German-style beers. The tap lineup will showcase AleSchmidt Oktoberfest, a German-style Märzen lager by AleSmith Brewing Company and much more. Enjoy favorite Bavarian biers with a special menu of traditional German dishes like schnitzel, wurst and strudel courtesy of Executive Chef Alejandra Padilla.

On Friday, October 11 at 6:30 p.m., SideDoor welcomes guests to experience the 8th annual Porktoberfest in the restaurant’s beautiful Backyard and Patio area. A four-course, plated, pork-centric meal will be expertly paired with a unique brew from the exclusive lineup at Russian River Brewing Company including Blind Pig, a world class hoppy American IPA, Temptation, a sour blonde ale aged in Chardonnay barrels and Pliny the Elder, a very well balanced American Imperial IPA.

Guests will also learn the unique history of each beer as a representative of Russian River Brewing Company will be present to share her vast knowledge and stories behind each of the renowned craft beers highlighted during the dinner.

Pork-cuterie Board
dry cured meats, pates, porky bites

Tray Pass
Pork belly on brioche with kimchi and Korean chili paste
Tuna tartar on chicharrons

1st course

Petite Wedge
fried pig ears, basil, mini iceberg, smoked blue cheese dressing, chives, egg, tomato

2nd course

Al Pastor Ribs
ribs with traditional al pastor glaze, tortilla crumble, pineapple slaw with pumpkin seeds

3rd course

“Prime” Pork Rib
mustard custard ribs of pork, traditional creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, pork gravy, bacon gruyere Yorkshire pudding

4th course

Bacon Baked Alaska
chocolate cake, maple bacon ice cream, marshmallow whip, candied bacon, tuile
